At Zappala Quarries, our mission is simple—supply and deliver premium quality raw materials and landscaping supplies across Cairns and throughout Far North Queensland. We work with a number of commercial and industrial clients to meet the unique demands of various large-scale infrastructure projects. Whether you’re looking for quarry materials for full-scale construction and building works, or smaller domestic projects – Zappala Quarries have got you covered.

Our site operates a well-maintained, versatile fleet of heavy-duty transportation vehicles to ensure our clients receive their materials on time and at a fair price.

We also have a large and diverse local transport fleet, meaning you can receive your products quickly and easily. Our service is quick and simple, meaning you can get your construction project started on time. We can deliver small loads to private residents, or bulk loads to large projects. We also offer ex-bin (or ex-quarry), meaning picking up quarry materials directly as opposed to organising delivery to your site. If you have your own transportation, we will use our on-site machinery to load up your truck. It’s important to note that we do not allow utes, trailers or domestic vehicles for pick ups. We’re also a registered supplier of the Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads. From our humble beginnings of producing a mere 80-100 tonne an hour of product to now producing over 250 tonne an hour of product, our crushing and screening equipment, both mobile and static, we can reach demand for many projects.
